Frequently Asked Questions

We are an out-of-network provider. This means that we cannot accept insurance directly as a means of payment for treatment. We will provide you with forms which you may submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement if you request them.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or Medi-Cal?
We do not accept Medicaid, Medicare or Medi-Cal as a form of payment for treatment. We are a private facility that is not contracted with any government or state agencies. If you would like to utilize these services please contact your provider directly.
What forms of payment to you accept?
We accept cashier’s checks, wire transfers, personal checks and all major credit cards. Please note that we do accept Discover and American Express. To make payment for treatment please contact the admissions department at 1 877 415 4673.
Are there any hidden fees in the cost of treatment?
We do not cover the cost of your medications. Other than that, there are no hidden fees in the cost of treatment. When researching treatment centers this is an important question to ask. Many facilities say that they offer certain services but then charge additional fees for things like; psychiatric evaluation, psychological assessment, one on one therapy, detoxification, etc. At the Authentic Recovery Center all of these services and others are included in your initial program fee.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do not offer payment plans. Our facility thrives by serving people who are fully committed to the treatment process.
Is the Family Program an additional expense?
There are no hidden fees in the cost of treatment. The Family Program is included in the initial program fee.
What is the facility’s refund policy?
The facility has a no refund policy. Treatment can be difficult but the positive outcomes from completing treatment are immeasurable. We support people in maintaining their commitment to recovery by motivating them to complete treatment by having paid in full.
What if a person leaves treatment early?
If a person leaves treatment early for any reason than they will have a term credit on account. We have an extremely high program completion rate but this does happen from time to time. In these circumstances the person will have a term credit on account that they can access for future treatment. Term credit is non-transferable. Additionally, all clinical readmission criterions have to be met before term credit can be accessed.
How many people do you treat at one time?
Our facility offers residential treatment to 12 people at a time. Our program is in high demand and our space is limited. If you would like to reserve a spot at the facility contact the admissions department at 1 877 415 4673.
What is your programs success rate?
Treatment centers that quote a success rate are deceitful and should not be attended. What we do is create a clinically-based treatment process that is highly individualized and include aftercare plans which people have the choice to follow or not follow. If a person follows clinical recommendations precisely they will succeed in completing their goals. Our job is to open the door to the opportunity for our patients to be successful. We do that impeccably.
Do you accommodate special dietary needs?
Yes. Our program does accommodate special dietary needs. We also have a nutritionist on staff who is available to answer questions.
Is detox included in the initial program fee?
Yes. Detoxification services are provided onsite and included in the program fee.
Are prescription medications allowed at the facility?
Yes. However, other than the period of time the patient is in detox habit forming prescription medications are not allowed during the treatment process. In other words, we don’t want people to come in on one drug and leave on another that is just as harmful. We do not practice harm-reduction treatment techniques or chemical restraint. We are philosophically committed to imparting the concept of total abstinence from mind-altering drugs.
Is smoking or tobacco allowed at the facility?
Yes. As much as we might like to discourage you from smoking or tobacco products, they are allowed in designated areas.
What are the living arrangements like?
This is one area where you will be pleasantly surprised. Our living arrangements are well-appointed and dignified. We offer a home-like atmosphere. There are both semi-private and private rooms available. If you would like to take a virtual tour visit the gallery at the top of this webpage. If you are local and would prefer to take an onsite tour call the admissions department at 1 877 415 4673.
